CORPORATE ART COLLECTION
October 15, 2002
Neiman Marcus - The Millenium
Orlando, Florida
Mr. Marcus, whose father, aunt, and uncle established the landmark store
in downtown Dallas in 1907, displayed art in his stores for the same reason
he collected art for his homes: It enriched his life, and he wanted, in
turn, to enrich the lives of his customers and the city he called home.

First Floor
"Mr. Marcus' conviction that the equality of one's life is enhanced
by art led him to place many...rare finds in our stores, creating an
atmosphere rich in world culture," says Corporate Art Curator Julie
Kronick.
Second Floor
"Collections need a focus, and our focus in the past few years has
been on contemporary works by regional artists." |
